Background
Both during and after completing my degrees with a BA in Advertising - Storytelling in TV Adverts and a MA in Creative Writing - The Oxeye Daisy (thriller short story), I have also had a variety of job experiences before settling into roles of marketing and communication. From a car rental agency, book shop and clothing store (in London) to food shops, pubs and restaurants.
Through these positions I have gained a unique perspective looking at the challenges through the eyes of these businesses, both with regards to communication with different target audiences as well as approaching different sales techniques for products and services. The common denominator is having time and capacity for these businesses to properly prioritze their own marketing and digital presence, which is an area I have aimed to contribute as part of every position I have had.​​​
From Svalbard to Tromsø
Settling into roles within areas such as ad sales, marketing and project management (among others with Svalbardposten), it became obvious that this is something I wish to pursue as a consultant in order to actively contribute to support business life in the north.

And so Steinbakk Consulting came to be; established one Thursday 29 august 2024 and based in Tromsø, there is a constant change in scenery during new and exciting assignments for clients near and far withing the northern areas of Norway.
